In
the great adventure of life, God &
Man are comrades. To the One family,
belong both man and God. To most of
us, however, God remains invisible.
We are unable to see Him, to feel
Him, to touch Him, to speak to Him,
and to hear His soft, sweet flute-like
voice. Man's heart yearns for a manifestation
of God.
It
was a Sufi dervesh who said:- "You
must meet God everyday. And if you
cannot meet Him, go and meet someone
who has met Him and lives in constant
communion with Him. The two are not
separate from each other!"

Men
of God have appeared in all climes and countries,
in all races and religions. They have appeared
to reveal God's love to humanity and to
lead erring humanity back to God.
One
such man of God was born on the 25th of
November 1879, in Sind-Hyderabad. He was
called by many names. The name by which
he was known across the length and breadth
of India was Sadhu
Vaswani
Seeing
the beauty of the One in the many, Sadhu
Vaswani felt drawn towards all religions
as he saw them as different paths to the
One God.
Implanted
deep in Sadhu Vaswani's heart was reverence
for all life. Every little thing he did
was inspired by the Vision Cosmic.
Sadhu
Vaswani dropped his mortal frame on 16th
of January, 1966, at the age of 86. His
passing on was mourned by many. The poor
whom he tended with so much love, miss him
the most. They still come to pay homage
at his Sacred Samadhi at the Mission Campus
in Pune. To most of his devotees, Sadhu
Vaswani still lives on in every nook and
corner of the Mission and in the work carried
on by Dada
J.P Vaswani to whom he bequeathed
his Torch.
